My name is Sarah.it was a typo. i was writing a paper, and i meant to write, “significant technological advances,” and instead wrote, “technificant advances.” 120 seconds later, i was the proud owner of the domain name technificant.com. (you can’t wait around for things like this. by now there are hacker programs that scrape your brain for brilliant urls whenever you coin a new term. if i had waited another twenty seconds, someone else would have bought it first.)
five minutes later, i realized that “technificent” would have been much more interesting, so i godaddied that one, and it was, of course, taken.
i twittered to the universe and asked what to do with technificant.com. iamfivestar told me to make a super sexy tumblr blog about all the crazy shit i found on the web that was interesting, but that i didn’t know what to do with.
that was two months ago.
i’m now taking her advice.
